The first delivery of 10 machines is already available for hire |
French farmer co-operative Camacuma has placed an order for 130 TL38.70HF telescopic handlers in the largest-ever single telehandler deal in Doosan Bobcat EMEA's history.
Camacuma is the internal national Cuma Agricultural Equipment Purchasing Centre, formed to carry out group purchasing in France and offer long-term rental packages to reduce machinery costs on farms in France.
The first delivery of 10 machines as part of the Bobcat-Camacuma deal is already available for hire to Cuma members. The remaining telehandlers will be delivered gradually in a number of batches by the end of June 2021.
Roy Haaker, vice president sales and marketing of Bobcat EMEA, says: "We have ticked all the boxes to meet Camacuma's expectations. The proven and recognised quality of our telehandlers is our biggest asset. Our strong dealer network in France allows us to provide a local service and ensure continuity of service when needed. Finally, because our machines are 'Made in France', supported by a French team, we had all the arguments to win the deal."
Yves-Mary Houdmon, Camacuma president, says the Bobcat telehandlers were chosen for their performance, comfort and reliability. "These machines meet strict Camacuma requirements to provide solid and robust machines for long-term rental to Cuma members. We provide the equipment and guarantee its operation. The warranty and aftersales service for the machines will be provided by the local Bobcat dealers. The real peace of mind for us is the commitment from Bobcat to respond within 48 hours. This is a new service for Cumas and we are delighted to inaugurate it with Bobcat."
The value of the order has not been revealed.
