BYD Mexico delivers electric semitrailer tractors to MarvaBYD Mexico has delivered five Q3MA electric semitrailer tractors to Marva, a large transport company, at the recent Transport Expo in Puebla.
BYD will deliver a total of 120 pure electric semitrailer tractors to Marva by the end of this year, constituting BYD's first pure electric tractor fleet in Latin America.
Equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries and the integrated electric drive axle independently developed by BYD, the Q3MA features intense power and a long range.
Miguel Angel Martinez, CEO of Marva, says: "This pure electric semitrailer tractor fleet will help to reduce carbon emissions (by) around 33,000 T per year, creating a cleaner and more environmentally friendly transportation industry.”
