Reach stackers boost TMP's productivity
Xiamen, ChinaTanjung Manis Integrated Port (TMP) in East Malaysia has received two new Linde reach stackers that were assembled in Xiamen, China.
The reach stackers replaced two 45 tonne, self-propelled, truck-mounted cranes that support vessel and yard operations. TMP's Hassan Hasnan says the new machines will reduce the vessels' turnaround time as they can make 15 moves per hour compared to the cranes' 10 moves.
DSI official launch next year

Company spokesman Francisco Vilar says dealer response to the new range has been "great" and partly attributes it to Mecano being one of two manufacturers in the world to produce the semi-industrial forklifts. Separately, Phoenix-Zeppelin in the Czech Republic has recently joined Mecano's dealer network.
CeMAT Middle East for 2011

Originally scheduled for February 2010, the industrial trade shows have been pushed back because scheduling changes and a resulting overlap of topics mean the Dubai World Trade Centre is unable to accommodate them then.
Haulotte-BilJax raises money for kids

Haulotte Group-BilJax hosted a bowling event at the Nu-Arch Lanes Bowling Alley this month and half the proceeds of the event were donated to Christmas for Kids. A watch and bowling ball were also raffled off to help raise money.
