Cascade marks 80th anniversary

Fork, attachment and mast maker Cascade Corporation is celebrating its 80th birthday.
The company has grown from a five-person machine shop in Portland to a global operation with more than 3,000 employees and 33 locations around the world including manufacturing plants, offices and distribution centres.
“The Cascade story and product advancement are directly related to our employees around the world who work every day to provide high-quality solutions along with reliable support for our customers,” says Cascade president and chief executive officer Davide Roncari.
“Their commitment, passion and innovation make us who we are today – and will continue to serve us well in the future.”
GRI releases non-marking tyre

Sri Lankan industrial tyre maker GRI has released a non-marking tyre suitable for indoor telehandlers and skid steer machines.
The XPT SS grey non-marking bias tyre has a three-step lug design, a reinforced sidewall and a unique tread pattern that maximises traction and facilitates rapid movements.
GRI chief executive officer Dr Mahesha Ranasoma says the next generation tyre “is a testament to our enhanced research and development capabilities and the expertise of our skilled personnel”.
The new tyre model is suitable for indoor and outdoor conditions.
