Crown unveils wearable tech
New Bremen, OH, United StatesCrown Equipment Corporation has introduced a transceiver strap wireless remote for its QuickPick Remote order picking system, which provides warehouse and distribution managers with an additional wearable option for their operators.
The transceiver strap is secured to the operator's wrist and finger with adjustable straps, leaving their hand free for low-level order picking. It features a conveniently located, thumb-actuated button that operators press to advance the forklift to the next pick slot without having to return to the operator compartment. A wireless transceiver module that snaps into a holder on the back of the transceiver strap transmits and receives RF signals from the forklift. The strap fits over all glove types, making it ideal for cold temperature applications such as freezers and coolers.
Also available are a transceiver glove or transceiver trigger to remotely advance the truck.
Auction for cancer

The company will hold a Lifting for Life auction, ending on October 26th, in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The online auction features the BHS LT4K-24-48, a one-of-a-kind scissor lift table with a pink powdercoat finish.
All proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), a non-profit organisation dedicated to preventing and curing breast cancer.

Kirkcaldy, United KingdomGood to Go Safety has reached a new milestone with the sale of its millionth checklist.
Good to Go Safety is a tagging and checklist system for workplace equipment. It allows a pre-use inspection to be carried out and findings clearly displayed inside the status tag for all to see.
Earlier this year, the company was recognised by the International Awards for Powered Access, with its MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) Inspection System shortlisted for a "Contribution to Safe Working at Height" award.
TVH helps The Boys & Girls Club
Summerville, SC, United States TVH in the Americas recently hosted a Back to School event with a variety of games and crafts and a raffle to raise money for local Boys & Girls Clubs.

The raffle raised over USD1,000 and was matched for a total donation of over USD2,000.
