FEM and partners adopt joint position
Brussels, BelgiumFEM and its European machinery sector partners, CECE, CECIMO, CEMA and EUROMAP, have adopted a joint position on the proposal for a regulation on market surveillance
(Forkliftaction.com News #611).
The position generally welcomes the European Commission's proposal but also makes proposals for improvements in several areas, like the approximation of sanctions, financial resources and earmarking, industry involvement and legal certainty for market operators.

Hans H Meyer GmbH is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year by offering customers special promotions, including extended warranties for core competence products like fork positioners and multi-pallet clamps.
At the start of 2013, the German attachment maker established a national and international key account department to strengthen its sales organisation and to link its sales and distribution structures closer to its customers.
CEO Thomas Auringer says the company has built a reputation based on "genuine innovation and quality". "For the future, we continue to build on these strengths and focus on service, local customer support and honesty - precisely those values that Meyer stands for."
AUSA contributes to Grand Prix
Barcelona, SpainFour AUSA machines assisted at the Spanish Formula One Grand Prix at the Montmeló F1 circuit in Barcelona. AUSA was entrusted with pulling the racing car out of the circuit in the event of an accident or mechanical problems.
Two TAURULIFT T 307 H and one TAURULIFT T 204 H telehandlers were delivered to race organisers together with a Multitask M 50 D (a multi-purpose vehicle) to support materials transportation. AUSA worked with New Holland dealer Comercial Reymavic to supply the machines.
