Barloworld gains certificate

Barloworld Handling has received its first ISO 14001 certificate at its Cumbernauld facility in Scotland. ISO 14001 is an international standard specifying a process for controlling and improving a company's environmental performance.
During the ISO 14001 roll out, Barloworld introduced environmentally friendly initiatives, including partnering with its waste contractor to introduce dry mixed recycling to its business.

Toyota doubles forklift production in China

Toyota Industries will double its forklift production capacity in China this September.
According to a Nikkei report, the company plans to use the increased capacity to meet growing forklift demand in China, and to expand exports to other markets.
Toyota Industries will boost its electric forklift capacity to 6,000 units and add 100 factory workers at its Chinese plant, Toyota Industry (Kunshan) Co.

BLT Logistics upgrades for greater efficiencies

The 24-hour online tracking program supports the customer's decision-making process, making it easy to check the status of shipments and gather inventory levels any time.

AUSA opens Dubai office

AUSA has opened its first commercial office in Dubai to provide better service to its Middle Eastern customers and dealers.
The company hopes to exploit opportunities in Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
