Goscor will show two Doosans |
Goscor Lift Truck Company (GLTC) will show the Doosan 'brakes for life' system at NAMPO 2018. It will display two Doosan forklifts, the D35C-5 forklift and a refurbished Doosan D25S-5.
The 'brakes for life' system is an oil-cooled disc brake system (OCB), which, being totally enclosed, eliminates all outside contamination by any abrasive or corrosive dust particles. The system significantly reduces operating costs and GLTC offers a 60-month, unlimited hours guarantee on it.
Goscor managing director Darryl Shafto says that Doosan has always been a leader in terms of innovative forklift technology and the 'brakes for life' system, is an excellent example of this.
The Doosan D35C-5 is part of the redesigned Doosan Pro-5 series. "This machine provides a well-balanced mix of technology, operator comfort refinements, performance efficiencies and advances in serviceability that help farmers increase their productivity while at the same time lowering their operating costs," says Shafto.
The other Doosan on show will be the D25S-5, another Doosan Pro-5 series forklift, which has been completely refurbished by GRC. "Our refurbishment division ... has proven its ability to make previously used machines as good as new," he says. "In these challenging economic times, it is sometimes difficult ... to buy new and we have therefore made the refurbishment route a viable alternative."
Another of Goscor's products, Crown, is represented at Nampo by two pallet jacks, which will be given away to two lucky ticket holders.
