Opening day at LogiMAT 2022

LogiMAT has entered its third and final day after a two-year absence, with 10 halls occupied by 1,571 exhibitors.

Attendance statistics are not yet available, but early indications are that the numbers are in line with past events.

One of the early highlights was the naming of the best products at the show, based on reviews from an independent jury of scholars and journalists who considered over 100 submissions.

Bosch Rexroth was named the winner of the Order Picking, Conveying, Lifting, and Storing Technology category for its ActiveShuttle autonomous mobile robot.

SICK Vertriebs had a winner in its deep learning–based PaCS pallet classification system in the Identification, Packaging and Loading Technology, Load Securing category.

The last winner was the SYNA.OS intralogistics management platform from Synaos, which won the Software, Communications and IT award.

  • Our full reporting on the show will begin in next week's newsletter. In the meantime, see highlights from the show floor in our dedicated gallery: Forkliftaction covers LogiMAT 2022

It’s the year 2000. You’re in front of a boxy beige desktop waiting for the screeching ramblings of your dial-up to reach its finale. As clumsy as this early iteration seems now, this technology was the great enabler that allowed Forkliftaction to connect to the industry across the globe.

Words of support …

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
