The Big Joe S22 features a brushless permanent magnet DC drive motor and maintenance free AGM dry sealed batteries. Control FeaturesThe S22 includes an unique off-set control tiller with a steering arc in excess of 180 degrees. This design greatly enhances maneuverability while also allowing the operator to walk adjacent to the truck during travel. Drive, lift, and lower functions are located in the handle for convenience, and angle grips are designed for easy ergonomic operation with either hand. The unit's tiller is mounted low for minimum steering effort making the S22 an easy truck to operate for most any individual.
Mast & Chassis FeaturesThe new S22 two-stage masts offer the operator a wide field of vision between the mast channels and include a plexiglas mast guard, dual lifting chains, adjustable mast rollers, and a chrome plated lift cylinder for smooth lift/lower operation. The chassis of the S22 is very durable featuring a unitized steel frame and rigid bolt-on adjustable straddle legs which can be set from 38" to 50" ID in 4" increments. The pin style carriage allows the 42" forks a wide range of adjustment from 8" ID to 27.5" OD while a one piece power head cover allows for easy maintenance.
