B&B Attachments, the exclusive UK distributor of Kaup equipment, has supplied landscaping manufacturer Marshalls with 360-degree fork rotators on flexible casual hire contracts for its Scotland site.
The contracts allow Marshalls the option to return equipment at any time if it no longer needs the attachments or send them to its other UK sites, B&B Attachments spokeswoman Victoria Adcock says.
The value of the contracts is confidential.
The Kaup rotator attachment is used for onsite operations when loads require rotating, and is used by Marshalls to empty containers, to turn palletised and non-palletised goods, and to deal with waste. Rotators can be equipped with a fork carriage and forks, as well as with clamps or other load-handling attachments. The attachments delivered to Marshalls included sideshift as an integral part of the attachment, Adcock says.
According to B&B, Kaup rotators allow for optimal visibility when approaching loads. The hydraulic drive is located on the side away from the operator, resulting in good visibility.
Ian Moir, logistics manager at Marshalls Falkirk, says: "The rotator attachment ... has made a big difference to our on-site productivity. The ease of use and reliable operation of the attachment, together with the service given by B&B, has been second to none."
Kaup rotators are available from B&B Attachments for short- and long-term hire and can fit almost any forklift.
