Hannover - CeMAT RUSSIA enters its second edition on
27 September with more than
120 exhibitors. Intralogistics companies from around the world exhibit technical solutions for optimizing the supply chain, in a significantly larger exhibition space. For the first time, the
German Logistics Association (BVL) is organizing an
accompanying one-day forum, which will take place on 29 September at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow. Expert speakers will provide information about strategic challenges and technical systems in the Russian logistics market.
The forum is well suited to the current economic situation in the Russian Federation, where challenges in the field of logistics are in the foreground. Experts from Russia and Germany present practical examples and illustrate how Russian factories can be integrated into the global supply chain network. Technical challenges are the primary focus. Solutions are also presented for managing intralogistics projects in the Russian market, and connecting conveyance, storage and commissioning systems.
For example, Dr. Josef Baumer, factory manager for Volkswagen Group Russia, will discuss the implementation of material flow systems in automobile manufacturing. Creating a logistics network in Russia will be addressed by the next speaker, Uwe Leuschner, General Manager of ZAO Schenker Russia. Various requirements for technical logistics in the Russian market will be covered by Michael Pötschke, Managing Director of Arvato. Roman Platonov, Head of Supply Chain Logistics Russia for ZAO BASF, will present the integration of a Russian factory into the global supply chain network. How stock levels can be optimized using flexible technical logistics systems will be addressed by Ludmila Kovalenko, Director of Sales Logistics for Rostselmash.
Participation in the forums is free of charge for CeMAT RUSSIA visitors. The presentations will also be made
available for download on the BVL homepage after the forums are over.
Under the umbrella brand
"Industrial Trade Fair Moscow" (ITFM),
Industrial Automation RUSSIA and
Surface RUSSIA will be held from
27 to 30 September alongside
CeMAT RUSSIA and
MDA RUSSIA. These four fairs present technological solutions from the fields of propulsion and fluid technology, industrial automation, surface technology and intralogistics. The fairs are jointly organized by OOO Deutsche Messe RUS, Moscow, a newly formed subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, and ITC Group Plc., an English trade fair organizer with branch offices in eleven countries. The group organizes 50 exhibitions and conferences each year in Russia alone.
For the
ITFM premiere in 2010,
269 exhibitors and around
5,000 visitors attended, primarily from Russia. Almost half of the visitors came to Moscow with concrete investment plans. 18 percent were of executive level, while an additional 34 percent held management positions in their companies. In terms of industry distribution, 25 percent came from mechanical engineering, 16 percent from transport and logistics, and 12 percent from electrical engineering and the energy sector.
