Svetruck AB has delivered its biggest-ever container handler, designed to stack 53-foot containers five-high, to Alaska Marine Lines (AML) in Alaska.

The Svetruck S1150, delivered in August, has been servicing AML's rail and barge service between Seattle, Washington, and Whittier, Alaska.

The new model has been fitted with a Cummins engine, a Clark transmission and a Meritor drive axle. Forkliftaction.com News understands at least one more unit has been ordered by AML.

A Svetruck spokesperson was unavailable for comment.

Words of support …

These releases in Forkliftaction are a nice experience for SNDC... We got seven inquiries coming from Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel and Australia (five from retailers, two from machines manufacturers) and we are still in contact with them. I can state that's a success story!
