Discussion:
YELLOW STUFF IN HYDRAULICS

I had a RRS30 when you would reach it in it would drift out 12". Troubleshooting in the aux system only revealed some yellow fibrous like material in the CV and I even found an o-ring. I cleaned the system flushed out all the oil through the reach system and replaced all the filters of which there was none of the contamination. I also found some metal bits. Is there anyone who has or may have seen the same thing. I am next going to disassemble the pump and reach valve.

Thanks

I repacked both reach cylinders and the tilt cylinder. I also put new seals on all of the solenoid valves as well as the check valves

Sounds like maybe the seals blew or something broke in one of the reach cylinders.
