What type of transmission oil for a CAT v35d

I have a gasoline CAT V35D forklift. I am trying to find out what type of transmission oil I need. I figure I am probably low since I spilled quite a bit when I had the front axles out to do the brakes. Now it is very sluggish either in forward or reverse. I have to rev the engine lot just to get it to move. Hoping it is just transmission oil. Have not checked the dip stick yet

Turns out that oil has been obsolete since 1990.
If you contact your local lubricant supplier they should be able to match an equivalent to meet Cat TO-2 requirements.
Will most likely be 10W Universal tractor transmission oil.

Hi rustydils,
Have a copy of the 'cat bible' here - little pocket book with all the service data for the whole range of older trucks.

It says you need CD/TO-2 SAE 10W for that transmission.
It lists this fluid for every power shift transmission in the whole range.
So I'd say you looking for any TO-2 rated 10w oil.
