Discussion:
What is the strangest thing your boss ever accused or asked of you?

in the thread "good bosses", bjohn mentioned he thought this would be a good thread;
"What's the strangest thing your boss ever accused or asked of you?"

I have to agree that this may be a very intersting thread.

I had mentioned one incident in a thread in the "fun at work" section (Genie on the beach "/forum/discussion_3428.htm") about being forced (at the threat of loosing my job) to drive a diesel powered genie lift up and back at the nude beach for 2 hours minimum, I have also had a service manager send me on a wild goose chase for a certain kind and flavor of chewing tobacco that was no longer made, that after going to 3 stores Iwas told "don't come back here today unless you find it".
This was in the days before computers tracked and billed every minute of a techs time to a job, so I went to maybe 70 stores looking for his flavor of chewing tobacco.

I had my boss come with me out on a job and at the end of the day, while heading back to the shop, he had me stop the market. He comes out with a six pack and chewing tobacco. For the next 1/2 hour he sat in my truck pounding down the beers and hurling the empties out of the window. AND, spitting the tobacco spit out and all along the side of my truck. All of this while I was the driving !!
