truck not suppling neg to main contactor and displaying error cose 51 on a hyster e45z-33 ac lift. any ideas what a code 51 is.

Thanks Brewski it looks like we have major problems the controller is smoking real bad.
4.5-5.5 ohms at room temp.
Does anyone know the value of this PTC?
besides the PTC you also want to make sure the battery is charged sufficiently and the line contactor is in good condition.
If the line contactor does not close properly it can trigger this code and if the battery drops below 50% nominal voltage this can also trigger the code.
Any idea about error codes on Hyster pallet truck? Need some help with one that I cannot solve.
Code 51 is capacitor volt low on start up. Check for any load on the NO side of the line contactor. There should not be any accessory items connected. Also check that the PTC discs connected to the input output posts on the line contactor are connected. The PTCs should be warm to the touch with the battery plugged in. The PTCs are used to keep the capacitor in the master controller charged when the key is off. The capacitor supplies voltage to the controller during POST before the line contactor closes.
