Our safety department keep flagging this truck for not have the blue travel lights working and for the life of me I can't figure out why it keeps burning out the lights. I have tried using different brands of light i installed a cheap dc motor controller on just the lighting circuit as well as a large voltage stabilizer like what is used on electric golf carts for 12v accessories. The lights I have had the best luck with are from amazon link below. But even these even these only last a few days or weeks. Is there a built in voltage regulator somewhere I am missing? This truck has a rats nest of a wiring from over the years and it just became my personal project to figure it out.

Thank you for your input I will look into this.
Crown has a kit that comes with a varistor suppressor for this, some models had issues blowing strobes and having the strobe induction pass through down to the back up alarm.
Yes Thanks for the input.
I have had terrible reliability from any of those LED lights from China. They do fine for a bit then blow for no apparent reason. Does it have to be the blue running light style? If safety would accept flashing beacons you'll get good life out of Meteorlite strobes.
