Discussion:
Unit throwing codes

I have a 2013 Yale GLP080VXNGAE086 serial number: J813V01572L. Over the past week or so it has been throwing the same codes periodically. 522593-12 and 522592-0. When the codes are thrown the unit runs but at reduced power. The codes go away after about 30-40 minutes then the unit runs fine for the rest of the day. Any help with what the codes are and what I might look at first would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

2000-12 is a canbus error. You need to check the can loop. There are any number of places that can cause this code.

Thanks for the advice Brewski! The unit had another code this morning as well: 2000-12. Could this be related to the other codes? Were having issues with the service company we use as to whether this is warrantied, the did a lot of electrical work a few months ago to this unit, unfortunately they have a bunch of part swappers instead of techs there which has cost us a lot of time and money, I'm trying to get a good idea of where to point them when they get here unless it's something I can fix myself. Thanks again.

These codes indicate you have a problem with the EPR. Fuel pressure regulator. Check the wiring to the regulator. Look for unseated pins. The second code is low EPR pressure. This probably is due to the loss of communication to the regulator. It is possible you have a defective regulator.

According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
