Unit operates out of sequence

I can step on accelerator pedal BEFORE choosing directions and unit moves. Checked and recalibrated travel pot, adjusted and tested start switch - no change. Unit does NOT display fault codes. I reset travel parameters back to factory default - no change.

try checking for stuck fwd or rev switches.
