Hi guys just need ur experience I have Toyota 7fgu32 had it for too many years the problem started with the reverse won't engage n it takes time then next day forward went out too I checked the wires n fuses then changed solenoids n still the same

Gentlemen; I am experiencing this exact same problem, its a 7FGCU25, the drums spun, It has new drums, new seals, new pump, and the pressure is at 50 at idle, the trans is slow to engage, would please advise what you guys ended up doing to resolve this problem?
I did call Joseph industries and their cost is less than what I have been told thing cost here.
I have changed the fluid a few times and the fluid smelled bad and had material in it.
All the info is good. And I rechecked a few things.
Where do you buy the kit or reman trany?
one way to see is to service the transmission.
drain oil and check for debris in filter and/or sump screen (if it has one, most tranny's do)
if you find alot of clutch material in the screen or in the filter then you have your answer.
Either rebuild the clutch packs or get a reman tranny.

If it is only slipping in Forward, then you are likely correct that the clutch discs are failing.
If you go into the transmission, you will find that some of the clutch friction discs have lost their center splines due to wear.
Check with Joseph Industries they can either sell you parts, a kit or rebuild yours.
The lift I am referring to is only slipping in forward.
The lever is operating properly. And I did swap forward and reverse solenoids.
I'm think the discs are worn and probably reverse will start slipping soon.
The cost of transmission part are very high and I'm hopping for a alternative from what is available from my venders.

Slipping only in Forward, or slipping both Forward and Reverse?
Slipping could mean that you actually have a loss of oil pressure in the clutch application circuits.
The most common cause of SLIPPING in these transmissions is a sticking, or non returning inching pedal cable, which causes the application oil pressure to be dumped from the clutch supply circuit.
Take the floor board cover off and push down hard on the left brake pedal (inching pedal). See the bell crank lever on the transmission that moves when the inching pedal is pushed down.
Now, let up on the inching pedal and put your hand on the bell crank lever (inching valve lever) and see if you can push the lever further to the released position than it was able to reach by itself.
If you can push the lever further to released mode with your hand, the inching cable is sticking and preventing the inching valve from deactivating.
If you are able to move the inching lever more off with your hand, drive the truck without touching the inching pedal and see if the slipping goes away.
If so, replace the inching cable.

There is also a coiled torsion spring on the inching pedal pivot hub that helps to lift the pedal back to the returned position. If that spring breaks, the pedal will sag and keep the inching cable from returning completely.
So, check both those items.
