Transmission problem

Hi Guys

I have Hyster 5.00XL ,Forward goes 100% fine but reverse....... no way it does not move at all ,i found some dirt in the old filter so i have replaced transmission filter still it reverse dont not work ,their is no solenoid or electricall system in that transmission how should i go ahead pls let me know

Please try to check on the solnide control drive, it seems that the one to support the reverse is not accessing the electric flow to engage in reverse by opening the link of transmission flow.

the "DIRT" you found in the filter could be the clue. pull the drain plug from the bottom and see if there is more of the same. if so it,s friction material from the clutch pack. strip out job required

disconnect the linkage from the dirrection spool. check the spool goes all the way in and out by hand.thats a good place to start.
