TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKING

TRANSMISSION FLUID IS LEAKING (SHOOTING OUT) FROM UPPER PART OF TRANSMISSION CASING NEAR THE OIL FILTER (RIGHT BELOW) AFTER RUNNING IT FOR 1 1/2 TO 2 HOURS WHEN THE OIL IS HOT. IT COMES OUT WHEN ITS MOVING SO I CAN'T SEE EXACTLY WHERE ITS COMING FROM.

Safely raise both drive wheels off the ground, and then you will be able to observe it while it's operating. Have a few cans of brake cleaner on hand. Before you running it spray the entire area down with brake cleaner. Only doing it when it's hot makes me think gasket, o-ring, or seal. There are only a few places it can be coming from. They are valve body, valve body gasket, oil filter, trans coolant hose, trans coolant nipple ( there is an o-ring on it). Worse case scenario would be a cracked housing. Good luck, if I think of anything else I will let you know

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
