Toyota old 2FB15 48 volt , acc pedal like not full power

Hi , i have the problem the acceleratie pedaal goes not full power. on the dashbord i set the power from S to P for more power but the trucks start slow and to 1/4 of the power than i press the pedal full but trucks give not more power ,only on the end of the pedal but i think the acc box switch the bypass relay for total battery voltage to drive then trucks drive full speed. Possible the S to P button are defect? I have check the potentio meter in the acc unit but they are oke.

it is a old 48 volt Toyota 2 FB 15 with the hydraulic control on the right side on the floor plate in the black steel box.

any idea what this problem is?

also 2 other things to check
-make sure battery is charged enough, should be between 50-53v if full charged

- when high speed is on make sure 1A (high speed) contactor(s) pull in

check battery voltage when in high speed to see if it is dropping too far, battery could also have bad cells causing power loss.

just some things to consider

I repair now of the same as yours forklift ( i have 3 wheel forklift ).
pay attention to the steering switches (possibly one constantly closed), when turning in one of the sides one wheel rotates slower. very old device but at first glance there is not anything to break down.
now I have a problem with the signal generator board, after replacing the chip forklift traveling at very high speeds (I installed an analog now waiting for the original chip from Japan.)
