Discussion:
Toyota 4Y engine manual

We recently purchased several 8 series Toyota lift trucks. We have the paper repair manuals Pub# CU052 and CU053. We also have the 4y engine repair manual Pub#CE663. The trouble shooting guide in the 8 series repair manual says to refer to the engine repair manual however our engine repair manual does not have any referance to the ECS fuel system. Does anyone out there know the publication # of a more modern engine manual. Our local Toyota dealer is not being the most co-operative. Go figure.

We have been a Toyota customer since the mid 1980's. We have over the years purchased dozens of new Toyotas for our rental fleet. Our standard practise is when we buy the first truck in a new series we request as part of the package the service manuals. What we are specifically looking for is the service manual for the "ECS" portion. My past experience is that it could be part of a seperate LPG manual??

how did you get the repair manuals that you have, and what info is in them. We have lots of 8 series too, and the dealer always says he'll get back to me.....
