Discussion:
TOYOTA 2FG9

Hello Forklifts Gurus!

I'm glad that I have found this forum, you are my last hope. I'm looking for technical detailed specification for an old forklift of Toyota, model 2FG9. I can't find it, it's really old model, but I hope somebody have this documentation.
Thanks in advance for help!

Hello,
Finally I have taken the serial number of that Toyota. I have found only 5 digit number: 17133. I would like to ask if somebody has the documentation about forklift 2FG9 of Toyota and could send me information which mast has that model, Because in my Toyota there are 4000mm mast (it's not original) and I have no idea which weight could be lifted on 4000mm.
Thanks in advance for help.

no, once you go higher your weight capacity goes down, because it is more unstable with the load all the way up. If you contact Toyota Forklift they can make a new capacity plate for you. You have to provide model and serial number of the truck, as well as the mast number.
Hello,
I have checked and the mast in this forklift and the mast is not an standard mast, but it can always lift up to 400mm. The question is what weight caould be lifted on 4000mm? Is the weight lifted on 3000mm could be the same (in this case 1000kg) on 4000mm?
Many thanks for help!

I really need to know the type and height mast you have. That info can be determined from the mast serial number which is located on the front of the outter rail in front of the tilt cylinder mount. I assume you have a 4000 mm standard mast

Hello,

Thanks for answers, about 2FG9 I need basic lift capacity, mast lowered and the most important information for me is the max lift height and how many kg could be lifted on 4000mm. Especially the last information is for me very important, because this Toyota can lift up to 4000mm, but I didn't find the info about weight. I need that information for technical inspection, so if You have some technical specification from factory, it will be for me an ideal situation.
Many thaks for help and sorry for my poor English,
Hubert

Take time to do the job right the first time, or you will have to make time to do the job over
Contact the factory in Columbus, Indiana. Try 800-226-0009 or their website toyotaforklift.com. They will be happy in trying to solve your problem.
