Yale GP080LBNFBS086:
HYDRAULIC PUMP DISASTER

I am currently working with the above mentioned unit and am continually having issues with the hyd pump, belts and pulley..whether its noise or the belts continually flying off. Is there any relief pressure setting on the pump itself and where is such adjustment point located? What psi is it to be set at if indeed it is adjustable on the pump.Any help would be appreciated and If I can offer any help in return Im more than willing. sn#P353729

What brand of belt are you using? When the hydraulics are deadheaded, can you see the pump jump? How is the spring- weak or broken?

I don't think there is a relief valve on the pump. The pressure should be about 2150 psi set in the control valve. Are you using a matched set of belts? Does the pump pivot freely on the hinged mount so the spring can keep the belts tight?
