Discussion:
Need help with transmission

I just obtained a 2FG30 tow motor that had the planetary 3rd member remanufactured. It was installed by the previous owner and now does not shift into forward or reverse. Is this something a manual can help me with or is there an ez fix?

You need to check the Main, forward and reverse transmission pressures before doing anything else

Take time to do the job right the first time, or you will have to make time to do the job over

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
