Discussion:
Komatsu -14 "Snow Mode"

I'm a Tech @ a Komatsu dealership in Canada, and as the weather gets a little colder, it's harder and harder to start these new fuel injected Komatsu's(an FG25T-14 in this case) because the injectors stick in the cold. There has already been a tech advisery about this, and the solution, in Komatsu's words, were to "use the handle of a screwdriver, and lightly tap the injector."

Well I'm no genius, but this doesn't exactly sound like professional assistence. So I was bumbleing around with the scan tool, and seen a option within the list of diagnostic read outs called "Snow Mode"

What is this? I've looked in the limited amount of Komatsu info that we have, and there is no mention of it.

(Please don't reply unless you actually KNOW what this is. I don't need "Educated guesses". I have enough of those already.)

Thanks.
