SUBJECT: Tier III SECM Program Upgrade V12
Doosan has introduced an update to all Tier-III SECMs: Version MI07SEQ062V012, or "V12", for short. The update includes the associated ".dll" file plus the latest display files - display G for MI-04 and display P for MI-07.
The purpose of this updated SECM program is mainly to reduce start time on the GM 2.4 engine in all "P" models, and it has shown noticeable improvement. For the other models there are some minor transparent improvements. It also contains all previous updates and improvements (see bulletins LT1400-E8 & LT1400-B9).
This update is required only in the sense that from now on you must use V12 instead of V09 or any earlier update; however, it is not required as a "fix". Therefore, Doosan will NOT provide any labor costs for this update. As always, Doosan urges you to check the SECM program version with MotoUpdate whenever connected via laptop. If the current version is pre-V12, please update; if it is already V12, cancel out of MotoUpdate, as no action is necessary.
Applicable Models:
This applies to all models listed above - all units equipped with a Tier-3 propane or dual-fuel engine.
Download and Update Procedure:
Procedures have been discussed in many previous bulletins, for example: LT1400-E8, and there is an instruction file included with the download in PDF format.
