Discussion:
Slow hydraulics

I have a couple of trucks where the sideshifts are moving veeeerrrrrryyyy slow. Aux system is only running about 975 - 1000 psi (should be almost 1800). The lift/aux pump is less than a year old and the solenoid valve isn't the cause either. Anyone have ANY ideas? We're fresh out.

yep...
cylinder bypass would be my first w.a.g....
I would also be considering changing hydraulic oil and filters... as a preventive maintenance.

try lifting and sideshift at same time,if it sideshifts, reach or tilts faster, that means the pump isnt running fast enough, the aux side of pump is bad

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
