Lift cylinders seal replacement

Hi I have a Clark lift and main lift cylinders are **** fluid out the top seal how hard are they to change ? Can I just lift forks support them take off upper ram bolt drop cylinders back down unscrew main cap and change seals or should cylinder be rebuild?
