I have a Nissan 60 series forklift.
Model: MUG1F2A30LV
Intermittently this forklift refuses to start! When the forklift is operating correctly the power to the fuel solenoid comes on for a second when the key turns on then goes off till the engine starts. At that point power to the fuel solenoid comes on and stays on till shutdown.
When the engine won't start, the thing I seem to find is the power to the fuel solenoid does not turn on and off when the key turns on. To get this thing to start all I have to do is jump the solenoid briefly and then start the engine. Since at this point the truck runs fine, wiring issues between the solenoid and the computer or whatever are effectively ruled out. Consequently I haven't torn the wiring harness apart.
Questions I have:
How does the computer decide to turn on the LPG fuel solenoid.
What should I be checking to help resolve this issue?
Any Ideas, thoughts, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
