righto here we go. take off the supply pipe at the carb.crank it over you should see gas comming out of the pipe.if not,go to the gas lock off/regulator.take the vacuum pipe off the carb and give it a ***.gas should flow.if not strip and clean the reg.then go to the regulator.check you got coolant flow through it.press the primmer button, see if gas flows.if not strip and clean that unit.does this machine have an anti deiseling lock off close to the carb?the plunger in that could be sticking.
Down and dirty hit it with staring fluid. If you have no fuel it will run then die out.I have keep feathering with fluid till half warm and truck then runs,But regulator will have to be replaced.Full of sludge. If you smell fuel crimp fuel line and start it.Vary crimp to regulater fuel,Same thing regulator is still bad.Do you have the trim pot on regulator.
Thanks,I have checked that. I have LP to the regulators, when I remove the tank connection the hose has gas in it.How do I trouble shoot the LP side of the lift? I dont have a gas pressure guage to see if I have the 2+pounds of pressure at the input to carb.Is there a simple way to check?
Make sure there is not an extra quad ring inside the brass propane tank coupler. Sometimes it falls out from a empty tank
