Toyota 7FBEU18:
The machine will raise the tower great, but will not lower or has difficulty lowering

I've checked the mast and it's components multiple time. Everything on the mast has been checked. The cylinder, the flow back control, the cable, everything.
There is not obstruction because I took everything apart, checked and cleaned it.

Everything works just fine, except when I have to lower the last it taste time and does so extremely slowly, if at all.

The worst part is that it doesn't give me a code at all.

I am at my wit's end and would love if someone were to assist me with this.

Could the middle cylinder be bent? Please share your thoughts and experiences.

Thank you all.

I think this truck has a flow control valve in the block that the feed hose attaches to. I would recheck that valve. If it is good you might have a defective feed hose or a problem in the control valve, maybe a piece of debris. I have had hoses cause this problem also.

It does so when pulling the lever down from any height. It goes up perfectly, but when the lever to descend is pushed up it will either stop and cease moving, or it will go down very very slowly. It is as if there were something obstructing the oil flow from the cylinder back into the machine.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Does it slow down at a specific height or is it all the way down?
