Discussion:
Cesab/Toyota Zapi Steer Problem

Hi there can anyone please shed some light on this issue. I have a Toyota/Cesab (same truck badged as Toyota) It has the double ended Zapi B1 controller. 3 Wheeler. The problem i am having is that whenever i get to around 70 degree of the lock it should normally drop out 1 set of contactors for 1 motor and continue turning 1 motor in the same direction, however when i go past the point when steering is at 70 degrees it should usualy turn the other motor in the opposite direction, but in my case once i get past the point where the 1 motor should start to reverse, it actually stops working the other motor. This happens no matter which lock i am in either left or right. The unit has been replaced/tested the steer pot has also been replaced. I have used the handset to make adjustments to steer pot settings also makes no difference. Is there any particular parameters that can be accessed through the handset to tell the truck at what point which contactors should drop out and which ones should come in etc. Any advise would be appreciated as i can see will be losing sleep and hair over this one.:)
