Discussion:
3.5 tonne fork working aisle?

A customer tells me that they have a 6 cyl 2 speed auto truck that turns in about 4000mm? I do not trust customers. The machine they are requesting is not a 3.5 on a 2.5 chassis. Thay want the big truck. It will not turn in this space. Is there such a machine out there? Please help.

Hello Dais
May i suggest you visit the Hyster web site and look at the spec of the cushion tyred range of compact machines. You should be able to get the turning circle etc from there. Also you could search cushion tyre or compact lift truck for other manufacturers.

Suggestion - go see the customer w/tape measure in hand and see what he is currently using, surevey his operation, get critial information - measure his aisles, stacking height load size & max weights handled. Then you can be in the drivers seat as to what he needs rather tahn what he thinks he needs
