Discussion:
Cat picker codes nor30p

We have codes 12 and 82 showing with additional display numbers of
7719.4kh
1898.6 hd
0262.5 hl
002470 tm

We had a potentiomete replaced because of a problem with the unit coming down on it's own. Now the unit will continue to raise by itself and horn was disconnected because it continued to go off. Any help with the codes or symptoms is appreciated.

Hi Pal:
I'll help you. I'm going to condense this as I don't type well.
Code 12=speed limit switch conflict code is generated if there are height switch conflicts.
Correction Possiblities:
60" switch problem
run test Ih- full speed to 60"
120" switch problem
run test Ii
150" (or option 180")
run test I1
24" switch
run test I0 (zero) (2 stage)
or run test A5 (3 stage)

Code 82=Combo Switch Analog Reading Out of Range
<.3VDC or > 4.71VDC
Refer to last post for base setting.
Run test A5
Possible:
Carriage card bad
Mast Cabling Concern
Vehicle manager Card bad

Good Luck;
Erik
P.S. These came straight out of the CAT Manual!

hi,
these cats were made by raymond and share many codes and common problems. when you replaced the lift pot and reassembled the handle you have the wires routed incorrectly and is more than likely jamming the horn button.this is why the tm, hd,hl and tm (hourmeters) are comming up.also when you install the lift pot you have to set pot voltage at apprx 4.45 volts....i am unsure of the code 12..good luck
