Hello. got a Clark TMX20 sit down 36 volt forklift.
Serial #TMX250-0195-9597KF
Cuts out drive and throws a code -31. Can anyone help or have a description of the code. Is it a voltage error?
I managed to clear battery corrosion built up between frame and battery case. It worked for about a day, Dont think that may have been the cause.

- FAULT NAME: VMN HIGH
- FAULT DESCRIPTION: wrong voltage on power motor outputs, failure in the power section or in the mosfet driver circuit or in the motor.
- CONTROL: master
- TROUBLESHOOTING: this test is carried out during initial diagnosis and in stand by.
-POSSIBLES CAUSES: problem in the motor connections or in the power circuit; check if the three phases are correctly connected; check if there is chassis ground of the motor to the truck frame.
Unhook battery at controller and do a diode check between BATT - and BATT+ (should read 0,3-0,,5v)
Fault in controller power section
Possible bad battery, excesive voltage to case of battery
ACTION REQUIRED: replace controller.
