Kieth,
All techtronics pressure problems should start with a trans valve calibration. Don't pull the trans without a full set of pressures.

all indcations are the clutch pack i'm starting to pull the engine / trans
I'm still waiting on my service manual can the clutch packs be changed by removing the back cover and not removing the transmission from the engine? it would save a lot of work

Keith, I understand you have changed the TSP sensors , have you checked the supply voltage from the vsm to the sensors you can do this by back probing the connectors your looking for 5 v or there abouts. Reconnect the connectors to the sensors and back probe the sensor connector again measure the voltage across the sensor wire to the negative, if it's greater than 0.5v is yes then the sensor is faulty. If the answer is no then cause could be mechanical.

Kieth, I think you will have to do some pressure tests, from one of your previous post I understand that the truck will travel in rev direction, if that is so you should be able to see a drop in selected pressure when you change direction witch may indicate a failure in the clutch pack. I will consult my notes further and let you know if I have any other info.

Hi keith, transmission pressures are -
Charge pump relief valve is set at 200 lbs ins
Pressure in the trans control valve for clutch pack is 160lbs ins and torque converter 112 lbs ins.
Hope this is sufficient info.
