8 series toyota

We have a new 8 series toyota where the mast would go down quite slowly and no will not go down at all. Has anyone found any problems in the valve body on these new units. I have heard rumors about a broken spring in the valve body but no conformation. Dealer is not helping out much. Thanks in advance.
