Does anyone know the reason why BT RRE 180 enters the correct password but can't access it?
Usually we enter the password 1 and it works every time.

Some of the parameters for speed / acceleration MAY be unlocked depending on how the truck was configured in the past, the pin code parameter wont be - it need the BT can key / Truck Com

There are 2 different ways to change the pin codes on the LPE but it depends on what software package the truck is running.

Truck OFF, press & hold a horn button, turn truck ON & watch the display - when you see Pn shown let go of the horn button & write down the numbers that show up **** followed by **** then the version -****
Package number is 6 digits long & the version number is 3 more digits on the end.

Post back what software your truck has.

1st thing we do when a truck is delivered is make sure the operator is locked out of changing any settings apart from the time on the clock if fitted.

I don't thinkt that BT in Greece would sellmme one. I will ask Tvh. I thought that I could change the password without the can key.
After all thank you so much for the replies and help!

BT / Toyota may sell you one.

Have you asked TVH?

They also sometimes show up 2nd hand on a popular internet auction site.

Ill get the BT can key part number for you Monday.

Do you have / work on any other BT equipment?

The newer BT forklifts ( RRE, Staxio, Levio etc ) dont work well with older BT can keys.

Fact of the week
Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
