But there old MD still there ?
Well,it's should be regarding the sales target or policy;
.....edited by Admin....
From what I hear Impact are not selling the Cat numbers that are required so Cat may just pull out the UK anyway, leaving it to Rushlift to sell the Mitz and Impact with HC.
Toyota dealer, Nissan dealer, Cat dealer, HC dealer, when will impact select one truck and stick with it
Can't see it working for Impact, HC want to promote the Utilev brand around the globe as part of a new tyeup with NACCO Briggs will all way's out sell Impact so Impact will be left out in cold. Cat will just pull out of UK leaving Impact no ware to go. From what i hear Samuk spent a lot of money with HC buying there equipment and they just dropped them to jump into bed with NACCO so why do Impact seem to think they can get a better deal. Briggs will be able to offer Utilev lower then Impact will be buying HC. Dave Cooper and Tony Rooney arn't stupid they could see That HC were not a company to move forward with and made the right decision to move. Just some one better tell Impact because they seem lost at the moment. Since Toyota dropped them they have not got a clue. Who will they be talking to next year
Could have consequencies for the Impact sub dealers.
My understanding is Impact will distribute the HC product in the UK with some sort of tie up with a Cat dealer in the Netherlands who will also distribute HC. Can't see why they are jeopordising thier Cat dealerships for a product like Hangcha.
The old Harvey sell anything mentality seems to be prevailing.
What will happen when Briggs target the Cat UK network with Utiilev ? Only winner will be the Chinese manufacturer Hangcha.
Seems as if Samuk did the right thing to drop Hangcha in preference for Maximal.
Impact need to be careful here. Not so long ago they were Toyota dealers, then Nissan, then Cat and now Hangcha. It's like a merry go round and impact are clearly the prostitutes of the uk market. They appear ready to jump into bed with anyone.
If they had any sense, not to contravene any arrangement with cat, they would set up a different company and they be silent owners. Cat however, despite any shop fronting, surely will be unhappy if they find out what is going on
Impact are advertising CAT in the latest SHD. Maybe no one wants the HC (hangcha) dealership.
It will be a money pit for sure!
What the **** are they going to do with all the old stock HC product now they are changing to Maximal as no one will want to buy old stock machines now they are promoting a new product.
I have come across some Maximal product and they are not all that, seen kingpin bearings go with only a few hundred hours on them!
David Cooper appears to have made a lot of money on big trucks.
Why on earth would he want Samuk of all people to throw it all away ?
Seen confirmation of this today in a trade magazine.
It says HC and Samuk have come to the "natural end" of their partnership and from now on the machines will be Samuk badged Maximal product.
Samuk has also been sold off to David Cooper of Copper Material Handling and Tony Rooney but Bowman Shaw will stay on as a technical consultant (lucky them!!!!)
I heard they couldnt meet there sales targets. HC are going to impact or briggs. Probably impact.
