Question about the quality of solid tyres.

Hello all. What you think about the tyres of "Watts industrial tyres"? I would like to know your opinion regarding the trade mark "Freightmaster CX". How I know, this is new trade mark of these maker. Does anybody know about the exploitation of "Freightmaster" tyres on the forklifts? How long time they "live"? What kind of positive or negative field experience do you know?

Is there a real need to rethread tyres?

Hello Alexander,
The tyre Freightmaster CX is manufactured in china for Watts Industrial Tyres as part of a J/V with another company. We have been buying & sold these tyres for a long time now and have had no complaints about them other than they are a bit narrow in profile. I believe they are changing profile to suit European market demand.
Years ago Watts made a 2 part solid tyre called the "Freightmaster" and to my knowledge they did not perform too good. The new Freightmaster CX is a better construction & quality tyre.
