Discussion:
Error code 1 and 60

Hello lovely people,

We have a Mitsubishi FB20KT EFB5A-75544 and is showing error code 1 and 60. I know 60 is a communication error between display and logic but I really need to know about error 1. They must be connected.

Any help much appreciated.

EEPROM is the logic chip inside the truck ecm (truck manager)
Now do not let this mislead you, sometimes the logic eeprom can get corrupted and the ecm needs to be replaced but in alot of cases it is just a connection issue in connectors or wiring interrupting the signal the eeprom is supposed to be seeing.
Therefore you get an eeprom error

I did some checking in my MCF Parts client software and did not find any HPK service documents relating to this particular code 60 but there were some teleconference docs that i do not have access to anymore so it could be in those explaining what alanmitsi said.

Aside from that, the troubleshooting guide in the manual does give a description on how to check the circuit to the display.
If you have an email address you can give me i can send you this code 60 troubleshooting information. I would put it here but it is confusing because it goes in 2 different possible check scenario's and trying to put it here in the forum would be confusing.

send me a message at the email in my signature and i can help you with this info.
