Discussion:
BT VR narrow aisle c31

Hello,

I have problem with error code 31, that should mean defect sensor bearing or cable in fork sideshift. Sensor bearing signal is ok, syncro-movement from one side to another works, but not the sideshift/reach-movement. It moves 15 cm, then the error get trigged. It wont get trigged if I don't pull the lever all way, but then it will be really slow. Has anyone any ideas what can cause the error in this case?

The problem was caused by the proportionalvalve Y25. The valve didn't open enough and the pulses from encoderbearing became too slow, and logics gives alarm 31. The machine works fine with a new valve.

I have connected my test-istruments to the logic card, so it can not be cable problem. I have checked sensorbearing with osciloscope, fork-rotator potentiometer, and the end-stop sensors. I have also changed lever between sideshift/reach and rotate. The sensor bearing change was the first thing I did, before I started look for other. Synkro-movement (automatic change from one side to the other) works perfect, until you want to reach for a pallet. A bad sensor or harness would stop the synkro also, wouldn't it?

Wiring harness checked / tested ok?

Check the proximity sensor that senses each traverse end stop is working at each end of the traverse.

Sounds like it will be new sensor bearing & horn time.
