Yes electronic ignition the l.p. version I'm on has two modules and a low oil sensor
Does the engine have ign points or an electronic pick up assy located under the flywheel assy by the crank? I'm not familiar w/ your exact engine.
As in suburu robin motor there is special nikki l.p. regulator and the l.p. set up is different than gas models it appears to have two ignition control module for spark
robin engine. like reliant robin??? I just saw one at a car show on the weekend always makes me think of Mr. bean lol
single cylinder?
gee
never seen one of those in a tennant before
Must be made alot like most single cylinder motors like the briggs and Tecumseh engines?
Could be a problem in the reluctor pickup (if it has one of those)
Most of these type engines do have some type of generator component to generate the spark timing on the flywheel to tell it when to spark.
I'm not too familar with these robin engines though.
Can you get any information on this engine from tennant?
I'll see what i can find if you can get the engine number off the engine.
Replaced spark plug and coil engine is a single cylinder robin motor
have you tried replacing the spark plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor yet?
