Clean air filter light

I have a Toyota 7FGU15, The clean air filter light came on, I have taken the air filter out, replaced it with a new one, and the light is still on.. any ideas?

some of these sensors have a "reset" button on the top of the sesnor...

I would disconnect the sensor behind the air filter. If it stays on you have a short if it goes out the sensor has failed.
