Hi Everyone,
I have a TM15S (1980 24volt)that take off like a snail, and when the double contractor kicks in it hauls butt(jumps)for a second, but then drops out like it over loads. The happen's in both forward and reverse. Up on blocks everything works as it should. It seems like a thermal trip? I'm stumped on where to start! Any help sou be appreciated.
I bought a service manual from holt out of California for $148. It only has wear troubleshooting in the hydraulic section.

look on the motors tags and see if they show the voltage rating of the motor.
if they say 36/48v then you have your answer
wrong battery voltage or wrong control panel in it maybe?
i can see having a transformer onboard to downgrade the voltage to 24v but theres no way to squeeze 36v out of a 24v battery.
This has a cableform controller. It is on a hinge and flips up. I pulled the SCR unit last night. I was looking at the label and in voltage it has "36-80". Could this be the wrong SCR because I have a 24 volt unit?
Could it be dropping out because it thinks it's low voltage?
Do they make drop in's for this, OR does someone have a troubleshooting book or web page?
well if you have to ask maybe you should get someone more familiar with electric trucks to take a look at it.
But... on that note...

a EV100 panel looks like this:
h t t p ://w w w.fsip.biz/Documents/EV100.pdf
the reactor usually has a decal on it saying EV100
a EV1 panel looks like this:
h t t p ://w w w.fsip.biz/Documents/EV1.pdf
the control card usually has a decal on it saying EV1
a 210 panel looks like this:
h t t p ://w w w.fsip.biz/Documents/M210.pdf
no identifying decals, you just have to know what this one looks like
if none of these are what you have then go to that site and look through the panels they show and find the one you have and let us know so we can help you.
good luck

how do Ib tells wjtch one Y have?
sounds like your getting a PMT
Being it is a 1980 model it is unlikely it has EV100 in it, most likely EV1 or maybe GE210 panel?
