Discussion:
Error C146 C016 and E068

Hi, I have this truck with these errors coming up intermittently and the operator says if he switches off and on, they clear and he can continue to use the truck.
I have no information on these trucks and not seen the code when I have tested the truck.
Any ideas?.
Thanks,
Steve.

Error 68 refers to the safety switch. Check the wiring and switch.
C016 refers to drive disabled, controller MP1510C
C0148 reverse pedal, switch error, zero position switch does not match signal reading. Check for broken or short circuit in signal line. Some of these error codes are almost useless when fault finding.
If you get a chance to view the fault as it happens, look at the traction controller, there should be a 7 segment display. Make a note of which segments are lit. You can contact me direct by email, see my profile

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
